Craft of Cannabis: The Argument for High Quality Cannabis

On New Year’s Day in 2014, recreational marijuana dispensaries across Colorado opened their doors. For the first time, consumers 21 years of age and older were able to buy high quality Cannabis—just as they’d been able to buy liquor, beer, and wine for decades.
Many consumers were just happy to be able to get out of the shadows and back alleys and walk into a regulated storefront where they could purchase a product that they knew was safe for consumption at that time. After more than two years later, the novelty of being able to walk into a dispensary has worn off for many. Consumers realize that “Not All Cannabis Is Created Equal,” and a generation of Cannabis aficionados is emerging.
After decades of operating in the shadows, basements, and warehouses across the country, we are now able to operate in the light of day. High Quality Cannabis

Matthew Huron started Good Chemistry Colorado in 2010 and is currently Chief Executive Officer. With 15 years of experience in the marijuana industry, one of the most experienced cultivators of marijuana in the United States. Huron became involved in the medical marijuana industry when his father and his father’s partner were diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. In 1996, when medical marijuana became available in California, Huron saw firsthand the symptomatic relief patients experienced from this alternative medical treatment. In 2000, he began growing medical marijuana for AIDS patients throughout the state, founding and operating a nonprofit medical marijuana co-op that became one of the most respected and well-known facilities in San Francisco.
